Both Renee and Sue, the founders of pretty Useful Tools, are firm believers in Karma. Because of this (and so mainly for selfish reasons) they are both passionate about preserving the world around them. But there’s more to keeping the world a clean, shiny and happy place than donning your gardening gloves or polishing your chakras.

The resulting ethos of ‘treading lightly’ trickles down to many of the products you’ll find on this site. Environmental impact and sustainability of both raw materials and production techniques are two of the criteria that are considered in the development and selection of a number of their products (along with prettiness and usefulness of course).
